Prof. Dr Klaus Sailer has been Professor of Entrepreneurship at the Munich University of Applied Sciences since 2006 and is the Managing Director of the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship (SCE). He is co-founder and board member of the Social Entrepreneurship Academy, spokesman of the think tank of the German founders’ colleges and HEInnovate’s expert council.
Klaus Sailer studied physics at the Ludwigs Maximilian University in Munich and did his doctorate at the Research Center for Environment and Health. At Infineon AG, he was responsible for project management and marketing for new technologies in the semiconductor field. Together with partners, he founded a high-tech communications company, which he successfully established on the market as CEO and implemented his innovative ideas with other start-ups.
He is particularly interested in innovation processes, business models, networks, co-creation and social innovations.
